We all know what Jesus would do....the question is, what would you do? I recently read the following fictitious story and thought it would make for good "blogging" material. Students and parents are encouraged to participate.....who knows there might be something in it for the best response....HA! How's that for bribery? Anyhoo......blog away!!!!!!
Here goes...
Bobby knew the reason that no one ever talked to him - he was a loser. He had never been exceptional in sports, his weight had always been a problem and his acne made him look like he had a case of the chicken pox. Jimmy, one of the most popular guys at school, would talk to Bobby at church on Sunday, but then Monday morning, it was as if Bobby did not exist. When Bobby and Jimmy passed in the halls, Bobby was ignored - especially when Jimmy was with his friends. Jimmy says it is tough being friends with Bobby at school because a person can't be a winner if he talks to losers. Jimmy thinks popularity is important and won't risk being friends with Bobby and that he will lose his popularity if he talks to Bobby.
...ok....so you know what Jesus would do and maybe you know what you SHOULD do. But the question is "what WOULD you do?" I anxiously await your blogging insights!

Great post. What would you do, and what should you do.
I read that one of the most awful words in the english vocabulary is 'hate'. That people shouldn't hate each other is given, but I think the most awful word in the dictionary is 'they'. 'They' will feed the poor, 'they' will help the needy 'they' will talk to the 'losers', 'they' will befriend the uncool.
We always wait until 'they' will do it, and most of the time, it never gets done.
So, what should we do? We should become 'they' and start doing what Jesus would do. This turned into much more of a response than I bargained for, so I think I'll make a post out of it.
